Guest’s arrive on the Sunday afternoon and can enjoy the calm and tranquillity of Carnarvon Beach Retreat, relax, settle in, have a drink and ponder the week ahead whilst Suzi prepares a sumptuous roast with all the trimmings.
Monday-Friday mornings the fun begins with your charter vessel departing at 8am sharp after a hearty cooked breakfast or Continental if you would prefer.
A typical week would see:
Monday: Mackerel and Snapper attack at Bernier Island, to put some weight in the freezers.
Tuesday: Take a run north to Quobba and surrounds for a mixed bag and the illusive ‘Black Snapper’.
Wednesday: Fish the deeper waters for the prized ‘Red’s and Rankins’, some trolling for sailfish before a run through the gap on the way home.
Thursday: Fish close on the Southwest side of Dorre Island for Baldchin Groper and Coral Trout, a long day but should be well worth it.
Friday: Another belting day on the ‘Mack’s and Pinky’s, or any of the above if you would prefer.
That should see you pretty much fished out.
Quality fishing gear, bait and Lures are all supplied, unless of course you would prefer to bring your own ‘lucky rod or lure’.
Morning tea, lunch, tea, coffee, soft drinks and water are all supplied on the boat to keep tummies from rumbling until you arrive back at your accommodation where nibbles will be waiting to tide you over until your evening meal is prepared. So kick back and relax.
Your catch, to legal limits, will be filleted and cryovaced daily and presented to you in sealed foam esky’s for your departure.
The person who catches the biggest ‘Pink Snapper’ of the week will be photographed and posted on our web and Facebook page and the biggest of the season will be welcomed back by Indian Chief to do it all again the next year free of charge.
